WHO IS HISTORIC MANASSAS, INC.
Historic Manassas, Incorporated (HMI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed in November 1985 to promote a positive image of Old Town Manassas and strengthen its economic revitalization. As an award winning Virginia Main Street program, HMI adopted the four-point program of Organization, Promotion, Design, and Economic Restructuring embraced by the statewide group.
Other significant contributions to the community include the recruitment and promotion of new businesses to the historic district, retaining and supporting the existing businesses within the historic district, the daily operation of the Visitor Center in the historic train depot, an on-line presence, and community calendar providing residents and visitors with comprehensive local information.
