Event Details
The Manassas Museum will offer a quilt program designed for Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts on Saturday, February 20 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the museum.
Individual Girl Scouts or troops are invited to learn about basic quilting skills, the meanings of quilt patterns from history, and the materials used in quilting. Participants will also create an original nine patch quilt “mug rug” to take home.
The program will fulfill some requirements for a Junior badge or Cadette interest project.
The cost for the program is $18, including materials, and preregistration is required by visiting www.manassasmuseum.org or by calling 703-368-1873.
