Make time to enjoy old-fashioned family fun at the "Merry Old Town" celebration in Old Town Manassas! The holiday fun begins on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 6:00p.m.when Santa arrive at the Manassas Depot via VRE train.  The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be at 6:30 at the Museum. Plans for this evening include the Resounding Joy Handbell Choir from All Saints Church on the lawn of The Manassas Museum, lighting of the Christmas Tree by Mayor Parrish and Santa, free hayrides, and, of course, Santa will hear the Christmas wishes of all the children at the Harris Pavilion Gazebo.   The Manassas Museum will also be conducting their Annual Holiday Open House and offering free admission. Gather family and friends for this evening of light and cheer.
