How to Reach Old Town Manassas

From I-95 South (Coming From Washington, D.C.)
From I-95 North (Coming From Richmond, Virginia)
From I-66 (Coming From Washington, D.C.)
From I-66 (Coming From Front Royal)

From I-95 South (Coming From Washington, D.C.)

  • Take I-95 South heading toward Richmond
  • Nearing Potomac Mills Mall, Take the Prince William Parkway exit to Manassas.
  • Proceed about 10 miles to the intersection of PW Parkway and Liberia Rd  ( Exxon station is on the corner)
  • Go straight through the intersection onto Wellington Ave
  • Turn right on Main Street.
  • At the intersection, turn left onto Prince William St and on the right you will see the Train Depot. Parking is available for 4 hours in Lot B or come inside for a free pass to park for 8 hours.

From I-95 North (Coming From Richmond, Virginia)

  • Take I-95 North heading toward Washington, D. C.
  • Take Exit 152B heading North on Route 234 toward Manassas.
  • Drive approximately 20 miles on Route 234 North / Route 234 Bypass to Route 28 North Exit.
  • Take Route 28 North Exit toward downtown Manassas.
  • Traffic becomes one-way as you approach downtown.
  • After crossing over Grant Avenue at traffic light, continue one block and make a right turn onto West Street.
  • Cross the railroad tracks and make a left into the Historic Manassas Train Depot Parking lot. The Visitor Center is located in the Train Depot.

From I-66 (Coming From Washington, D.C.)

  • Take I-66 West heading toward Front Royal, Virginia
  • Take Exit 53A (Centreville/Dulles Airport Exit), to Route 28 South toward Manassas
  • Drive 7.5 miles until one-way traffic begins and a sign welcomes you to Old Town Manassas.
  • Travel 4 blocks to make a left on West Street.
  • Go across Center Street, across the railroad tracks and make a left into the Historic Manassas Train Depot Parking lot. The Visitor Center is located in the Train Depot.

From I-66 (Coming From Front Royal)

  • Take I-66 East heading toward Washington
  • Take the exit 44 Manassas By-pass Route 234.
  • Follow Route 234 Bypass to Route 28 North exit.
  • Take Route 28 North Exit toward downtown Manassas.
  • Traffic becomes one-way as you approach downtown.
